Batches

Saving Batches

You can save a batch at any time after entering or editing the entries in it. It's a gfood idea to save the new or edited entries in a batch fairly often so you don't lose any work if your computer malfunctions. You can keep any number of batches open, while you are verifying the data entry, for example.

Highlight the bach and click Save batch.

Posting Batches

Once you have verified that the data in a batch is correct, highlight the batch name in the left pane. You can then either right-click for the window options menu and click Post to commit the data to your permanent records, or click the Post batch button below the left pane.

Deleting Batches

You can delete a batch at any time before posting. Highlight the batch name in the left pane, right-click for the window options menu, and click Delete to delete the batch. Or just highlight the batch and press the Delete key on the keyboard.

Renaming Batches

Right-click the batch name in the left pane to rename the batch. The name can be up to eight characters. The system appends three digits as a unique-numbering system for multiple batches with the same name. (The automatic numbering scheme lets you accept the default date-name while entering multiple batches on the same day.)
