Changing period dates in Financial Calendar
Posted: January 24th, 2012, 8:15 pmCan I change the period dates in my Financial Calendar and, if so, how will this change effect prior transactions posted?
The program is designed to recognize that an edit has been made to the Financial Calendar. Posted transactions effectively move to a different period which is recognized by the system. The system will give a message to the effect that prior period postings have been automatically remapped. The user has the opportunity to approve the remapping of the transaction.
We recommend that the user make a backup prior to making the changes.
